Awarded to an individual who exemplifies leadership qualities in his/her community. A friend to all. A non-judgmental individual who stands up for the underdog and encourages others to follow the Golden Rule to a “tee”, all the while enjoying family and life to the fullest.

Scholarship
Awarded to a an individual who exemplifies kindness, compassion, and cares for others. Someone who is a peace-maker and offers sound advice and encouragement to anyone asking for help. A gentle person who does not hesitate to run head on towards a problem and offer assistance. This person often puts others before him/herself. An individual who is pursuing a degree in the medical field- a career in medicine; a nurse and/or a doctor.
The Johnston Sisters
Amy, Katie and Carrie wanted to preserve the legacy of their parents, Bob & Kay Johnston. They established the Johnston Memorial Scholarship Foundation in 2020 to help keep their parent's loving and self-less spirits alive in their community. In 2021, the sisters gave the FIRST of their memorial scholarships to 2 deserving High School Seniors.
Since that first year, the Bob & Kay fund has awarded over $10,000 in scholarships! We are looking forward to awarding even more in the next year thanks to our growing fundraising efforts through the Bob & Kay Johnston Scholarship Fund Golf Outing. Please join us for the 2023 Golf Outing held at Rolling Acres Golf Course on September 16, 2023!
